Day 1: Arrival in Munich

Your driver will pick you up at the airport with a name board at your gate of arrival. After checking in to your hotel in Munich you will have some time to relax. Your guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby to take you on a 3 hours Panoramic Walking Highlights Tour of Munich. You will be visiting places for good food & company like the Hofbräuhaus and the famous Viktualien Market Square and visit historical buildings like the New Townhall and the Church of our Lady. Overnight at 5* hotel in Munich.


Day 2: ​Neuschwanstein Castle

Today you will be visiting Germany’s number 1 fairy-tale castle: Neuschwanstein Castle! Your guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby for this 10 hours day trip.

Built from 1869 to 1886 it is unique in the world with its breathtaking location and fantastic interior decorations. But not enough: after that beautiful adventure you will get to be able to explore one more beautiful palace of Germany, the Linderhof Palace, the former site of the Bavarian King Maximilian! The palace took its name from the linden tree which is nearly 3000 years old and takes place in the magnificent romantic garden of the palace.

On the way to your next stop you will drive by Wieskirche – a stunning Catholic pilgrimage church in Rococo style. To finish your day trip you will go to Oberammergau, a small town not far from Garmisch-Partenkirchen renowned for the painted houses “Lüftlmalerei”. It is also the village where every 10 years the Passion Play takes place. Overnight at 5* hotel in Munich.


Day 3: ​Viktualienmarkt Tasting Tour

After being picked up by your guide at the hotel lobby, you will go on a 2 hours Viktualienmarkt Tasting Tour! The historic Viktualienmarkt farmers’ market is a delight for all the senses. It is located in the heart of the old town and it is a premier place to shop for fresh produce, dairy, bread, Bavarian specialities and even Bavarian arts and crafts! A guide takes you for a stroll over the Viktualienmarkt and introduces you to the marketeers. The marketeers are happy to take time for you and tell you about their products, their history and true traditional Bavarian companies. While you listen you get to taste several Bavarian delicacies like Obatzter with fresh bread or local cheese.

Afternoon is at leisure, we recommend visiting BMW World and Museum or Nymphenburg Palace. Overnight at 5* hotel in Munich.


Day 4: Concentration Camp in Dachau

You will meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby to go on a half-day tour to the Concentration Camp in Dachau. The concentration camp in Dachau was the model for all later concentration camps. In the 12 years of its existence, 200 000 persons were imprisoned and 41500 were murdered.

Today the memorial can be visited. Several exhibitions show the leitmotif of the memorial, the ‘’path of the prisoners’’ which means the prisoner’s way to the camp, their life in the camp and their journey to either death or liberation.


Day 5: ​Berchtesgaden

After checking out, you will meet your driver at the hotel lobby. He will take you to Berchtesgaden. (duration: approx. 2h).

Arriving in Berchtesgaden, you will check in to your hotel and the afternoon is at leisure. Go for a walk, rent a bike or relax in the hotel spa.

Day 6: Eagle’s nest

Today you will visit Eagle’s nest with your guide, a building that was a present to Hitler in 1939 for his 50th birthday (open only May – October). You will go up the mountain by an elevator built into that mountain. From up there you have the best panorama of the Berchtesgadener Land region. Afterwards you will be taken to the beautiful Lake Königssee, Bavaria’s most beautiful and crystal clear lake to have an unforgettable boat cruise with a stop at the 12th century chapel St. Bartholomew.

Day 7: Salzburg

Today your and will pick you up at your hotel to take you to Salzburg for a 6 hours trip!In Salzburg you meet your private guide who will show you around Salzburg for 5 hours. During a walking tour through the Old Town you will get to know the Cathedral and St. Peter’s Abbey, the Residence, Mozart’s Birthplace, the Festival-Theatres, the oldest pharmacy and the oldest café, Salzach river, the mountains in town and many other sights. The tour also includes a short trip to the fortress to enjoy a wonderful view of the town and its magnificent alpine surroundings.

Day 8: ​Palace Herrenchiemsee

Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby to take you on a 8 hours day trip to lake Chiemsee and Palace Herrenchiemsee. Only a 1-hour drive away from Berchtesgaden there is the Palace Herrenchiemsee, also known as the ‘‘Bavarian Versailles‘‘ because Versailles served as a pattern. A boat takes you to the island Herreninsel where the Palace is located.

It was built by King Ludwig II who also built the famous Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstein Castle. The King Ludwig II Museum tells the story of Ludwig II’s life from his birth to death and is reachable by foot. The most impressive parts of the Herrenchiemsee Palace are the king‘s own rooms which are all designed in the French Rococo style while the beautiful gardens resemble the gardens of Versailles.

Also on the island Herreninsel there is the Augustinian Monastery (Old Palace) which was constructed in the baroque era. Nowadays it is a museum where visitors can visit private rooms by King Ludwig II, Monastery kitchen and state rooms. The romantic neighbouring island Fraueninsel can be reached by boat. With more than 50 houses and about 250 inhabitants, the island is the smallest community in bavaria. The Campanile, a freestanding bell tower, and the Frauenwörth monastery are landmarks and tell about the history and culture of the island


Day 9: Departure

After your breakfast and check out at the hotel, your driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and drive you to Munich airport.
