To be honest, almost everyone thinks of the Oktoberfest, Lederhosen or at least beer when it comes to Munich. Of course, Munich is also famous for that, but it has much more to offer! Munich is the third largest city in Germany and is considered the “most livable” city in the world. Munich is a diverse city that is the opposite of itself, whether green oasis and metropolis, tradition or modernization. All these elements complement each other harmoniously. The city manages to combine old Bavarian tradition with pulsating modern life.
Every year at the end of September the world-famous Oktoberfest takes place in Munich and is worth a visit. But at any other time of the year, Munich is a magnet for tourists because of its diverse offers! Visit historic places like Marienplatz with the Old and New Town Hall, Nymphenburg Palace or take a walk through the English Garden or enjoy modern entertainment in the Old & New Pinakothek, in the BMW World or in the Allianz Arena for all football fans.
