Campomoro is an ideal family holiday destination. Between the sea and the scrubland, there are plenty of walks and places to settle down and unwind.

My suggestion:
If you enjoy camping with your family, there are plenty of campsites, suited to all ages and tastes, by the beach.
Finally, take the time to climb up to the tower for sunset - the colours it sheds over the bay are magnificent!
My review

Campomoro is a breath of fresh air, as, unlike other towns in Corsica, it's not a tourist trap. You'll need to find the courage to wind your way to the end of the road, but you'll find it so charming, you'll want to come back next time you're in the country!

This is a perfect family holiday destination. Close to the beach, easy-going, cheerful locals, a nearby forest, the tower...everything you need for a few days' peace and quiet.

Go for a walk in the creek behind the tower, by following the path that bypasses the one leading uphill. You'll find yourself on a more or less deserted white pebble beach! The water's a turquoise blue and the scenery perfect for a lazy picnic in picturesque surroundings.
This is, without doubt, my favourite part of Corsica!

Beach time with the kids!
