People i.e. guides and drivers were very friendly and knowledgeable. We got good insights about Cuba.
Infrastructure was bad. The hotel Copacabana in Havana was pretty bad and the cars that drove us around were of low quality. We understand Cuba standards are not the highest but we paid quite an amount for 5 days trip.

Thank you for sharing your experience in Cuba with us. We're very glad to hear that your guides and drivers provided you with an in-depth, local knowledge of the country and its history. We also love to hear of welcoming and friendly peoples! :)
That said, I'm also sorry to read that you felt underwhelmed by the general standards you experienced in your accommodation. The fascinating historical and current political situation is part of the charm of the country, and also what has allured many visitors to its shores in recent years. However, as a result of that situation, Cuba has been starved of finance and investment for many decades, meaning that its infrastructure cannot be compared to other countries. Indeed, this is the attraction for many people – a chance to see Communist Cuba before its society is transformed, now that it is slowly opening up to the world. Combining this with the surge in popularity of travelling to Cuba in recent years, means that the experience cannot be compared with that in another country where you may pay the same amount for higher quality accommodation unfortunately.
In response to your feedback and in combination with our partners in Cuba, we will ensure that their agents better communicate the uniquely complex situation there. Thank you again for travelling via Evaneos and for your valuable feedback.
