Day 1: ​Arrival to Zvartnots airport 

Transfer to the 3* hotel in the city centre (20 km from the airport)

Day 2: Saghmossavank - Monastery of Psalms

After breakfast, departure to Aragatsotn region. Then, we will visit the monastery Saghmosavank of the XIII century, standing at the edge of the picturesque canyon Kasakh. After that, let's start our walk from the village Boujakan towards the ruins of the monastery Teghenis (VII century). Lunch as a picnic by the monastery Teghenis for continuing our walk towards Aghveran. Finally, we will enjoy the dinner at the same place.

Day 3: Tsakhkadzor: Treasure of the region

After breakfast, we will start the walk from the hotel to Lake Teghuniats (at 2400m). Then, we will carry on to walk to the monastery of Kecharis that dates back to XI-XIII century. We will have lunch (picnic) in nature. Tsakhkadzor (or Valley of Flowers) is truly the treasure in the region. In winter it is a famous ski resort with excellent tracks located at 2,000 m altitude on the eastern flank of mount Teghenis. In the evening, we will have dinner in the hotel.

Day 4: Lake Sevan: Blue Pearl of Armenia

After breakfast let's walk to the village Bjni. We will hike on the mountain ridge Tsaghkuniats, enjoying the picturesque view that opens towards Lake Sevan and towards the nearby summits. Lunch (picnic) in nature. Then, walk down to the village of Bjni for discovering the church of the VII century and the fortress of the X-XI century. After lunch, you will be transferred to Lake Sevan called the "Blue Pearl" of Armenia which is located on 2000m above sea level. Surrounded by mountains, the second biggest freshwater lake in the world strikes the imagination with its majestic beauty. Here, we will go to see the peninsula with the monastery Sevanavank. Dinner in a restaurant by the lake. Degustation of fish from the lake.

Day 5: Goshavank: first law library

After breakfast, departure to the village Semionovka, from where we will start our walk towards the monastery of Goshavank passing on the ridges overlooking the national park Dilijan. Then, we will enjoy our lunch (picnic) in nature. After that, let's carry on with Goshavank (X-XIII century) and discover old Dilijan district. Finally, you will be transferred to Yerevan. Free dinner.

Day 6: UNESCO world heritage: Geghard, upper valley of Azat 

Breakfast in the hotel. Yerevan is the capital, the largest city of Armenia and one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Situated along the Hrazdan River, Yerevan is the administrative, cultural, and industrial centre of the country. The birth date of the capital of Armenia is 782 B.C., which is revealed by a cuneiform inscription engraved on a block of basalt found in the citadel of Erebuni. Discover Cascade, Opera, and Republic Square. Visit the Matenadaran - depositary of ancient manuscripts, research institute and museum located in Yerevan. It holds one of the world's richest depositories of medieval manuscripts and books which span a broad range of subjects, including history, philosophy, medicine, literature, art history, and cosmography in Armenian and many other languages. Lunch in a restaurant.

Departure for the Kotayk region to see the Pagan temple of Garni (77 A.D.) which is the only hellenistic monument on the whole territory of Armenia. Visit the Geghard cave monastery, an UNESCO world heritage site (XIII century). Finally, let's return to Yerevan. Dinner in a folk restaurant.

Day 7: Departure

Transfer to the airport where you will take a plane back home.
