In my opinion Menjangan is a must see for everyone who wants to dive during their trip to Bali! From Pemuteran's beaches I went there several times to spend a day in the crystal clear depths off this dreamy island. The Isle of Menjangan is not on any classic tourist route, but it is a marine paradise, with thousands of brightly coloured fish, seahorses, nudibranchs, sponges and all sorts of corals.
Whether you are an experienced diver, or just a novice with a snorkel, it's difficult not to fall for these charming seabeds. After some wonderful dives I enjoyed the beaches, which were also breathtakingly beautiful. So, in a nutshell, this tiny island in the heart of Bali Barat National Park is not the easiest place to get to but if, like me, you love untouched beaches, you won't regret going there.
